HOMER MK IV CARP ROD. Early. 2 sections built cane. 10’ 3”. Black anodised sliding reel fittings. Low bridge rings, agate lined butt and tip. Green silk intermediate whippings Long cork handle (31”). Keeper ring. Handwritten in Indian ink along the rod “Homer’s 125, Woodgrange Road, London, E.7.” and around the rod: “76 Mk IV Carp Rod”. Reinforced ferrule with turned wood stopper. A very rare early carp rod.
